Designed around how people actually click.

Sage Media designs websites and apps around real user behaviour — researched, wireframed and tested before visual design — so the path to conversion is short and clear.

What we do

Designed around how people actually click

We work in that order every time — research, then wireframes, then visual design, then testing — so nothing gets built on an unvalidated structure.

01

User Research & Journey Mapping

Understanding who uses your site, what they're trying to do, and where they get stuck.

02

Wireframing & Prototyping

Structural layouts tested for flow before visual design begins.

03

Visual Interface Design

Clean, on-brand interface design applied on top of a validated structure.

04

Usability Testing

Real users tested against key flows to catch friction before it costs conversions.

05

Design Systems

Reusable component libraries so new pages stay consistent as your product grows.

06

Interaction & Motion Design

Adding purposeful micro-interactions and smooth animations that guide users and elevate the brand experience.

How we work

Our 4-Step Process

We translate insight into a tailored strategy with clear KPIs, channels, and milestones.

03

Create

Our team executes — design, content, code, campaigns — built to match the strategy.

04

Deliver

We launch, measure, and iterate. You get full visibility on results and the next moves.

Common questions

FAQ about UI/UX Design

What's the actual difference between UI and UX design?
UX is the structure — how the product works, how users move through it, and whether it solves their problem. UI is the surface — the colours, type, buttons and layout applied on top of that structure. We do UX work first (research, flow, wireframes) so the UI we design later is solving the right problem, not just decorating a guess.
Do you redesign existing sites and apps, or only design new ones?
Both. For an existing product we start with an audit — looking at where users drop off or get confused — before touching the visual design. For a new build we start from research and wireframes rather than jumping straight to visuals.
Do you test designs with real users before they go live?
Yes. Key flows — sign-up, checkout, lead forms, core navigation — get tested with real users so friction is caught and fixed before launch, not after.
Can you design for mobile apps as well as websites?
Yes — the same research-first process applies across websites, web apps and mobile app interfaces.
How long does a UI/UX design project usually take?
It depends on scope. A single page or flow redesign can wrap up in a few weeks; a full product with research, multiple rounds of wireframes and usability testing typically runs longer. We scope the timeline with you once we know what's involved.
Will you build a design system we can reuse for future pages?
Yes, where it makes sense for the project — a reusable component library so new pages and features stay visually consistent as your site or product grows, instead of every new page being designed from scratch.
What do you actually deliver at the end of a project?
Wireframes, tested prototypes, final visual designs, and a design system where relevant — handed off in a format your developers can build from directly.
